The legal field is central to the promotion of practices and recommendations aimed at building a more inclusive society, respectful of gender identity, by fighting against the discrimination of transgender people.
- Verify that in the acts under your jurisdiction (judgments, decrees, ordinances or appeals and petitions) there are no expressions that unintentionally stigmatize or convey a stereotyped idea of the transgender condition.
- Promote, within the programs of continuing education of legal practitioners, specific initiatives on subjects regarding gender identity and related legal protection, provided for by our Constitution and by national/international regulations.
- Promote the enactment of measures to assist and accommodate transgender women as victims of gender-based violence.
